Laos: PI/STEP Training for Youth

Description of the Project:

We developed a curriculum for youth in Laos as a combination of the Personal Initiative (PI) Training and the STEP Training and conducted a Training-of-Trainers (ToT) workshop in Vientiane in collaboration with Digital Divide Data (DDD) Laos. During the ToT workshop, 12 trainer candidates delivered the training sessions that were complemented by practical sessions on the legal aspects of starting a business in Laos.
The newly certified trainers will implement the training as part of the DDD Career Connect program, equipping young people with practical and actionable skills to improve their employment prospects and develop an entrepreneurial mindset.
