Lebanon: STEP Sustainability

Description of the Project:

With our partner Arab Open University (AOU), we have adapted the STEP Training to the Lebanese context and refined it for long-term use. While the STEP Training had already been implemented in Lebanon in the past, this project focused on creating a contextualized version of the training with a focus on sustainability.

As part of the project, we have trained AOU lecturers to become certified STEP Trainers and the initial cohort of students was trained in the fall and winter of 2025. The aim of the project was to create a lasting impact in Lebanon by equipping one of the leading universities in the country with the means and qualification to offer the STEP Training to their students in the future.
